Is what they claim true, that our Master rose from his grave, and that he is the one who said the verse, "See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself"? And is it corrupted? And how could our Master Jesus have said it when Allah raised him to Himself? And is it true as long as Sheikh Deedat uttered it?

Muslim scholars who debate Christians read their books to establish the reality of textual corruption (tahrif) and to clarify false doctrines, not to use them as evidence. The Muslim belief is that the Messiah was neither killed nor crucified, as Allah Almighty says: {And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [the resemblance of] Jesus was presented to them.} Al-Qasimi quoted Luke's words in his tafsir in the chapter titled (Mentioning what they claimed and narrated, which the Noble Revelation denied). The scholar Al-Alusi mentioned that what the Christian asserted regarding the death and resurrection of the Messiah is what Christians have agreed upon, and that both reason and transmitted texts refute it. Sheikh Deedat refuted the doctrine of crucifixion and atonement, demonstrating this through several aspects, including disproving the narratives of the corrupted Gospels concerning the crucifixion, resurrection, and appearance.
