Will we be sinful or held accountable by God for the time we spend following celebrities, fashionistas, bloggers, and others on social media?

If a person's fame is due to a permissible cause, such as knowledge or benefiting others in a permissible field, then there is no harm in following them, as long as no forbidden act results from it. However, if a person's fame is due to a forbidden cause, such as immodesty or forbidden singing, then it is not permissible to follow them or to admire their pages, because that entails seeing their objectionable acts, increasing their followers, and promoting them.
