What is the ruling on using a gilded pen for writing, and the ruling on accepting it as a gift and keeping it?

Gold is permissible for women and forbidden for men. Its use for purposes other than personal adornment, such as in a pen, an inkwell, a mirror, a comb, a kohl container, and similar items, is not permissible for either men or women. According to the view that it is forbidden, it is not permissible to accept it as a gift except for the purpose of destroying it.
