The question

Does one who doubts their recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha in prayer, such as doubting whether they forgot a verse from it or doubting the correctness of their recitation in all rak'ahs, have to perform the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw)?

The answer

If doubt arises concerning the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah or some of its verses after finishing it, then there is no need to repeat it, because it is presumed to have been recited completely. However, if the doubt occurs before finishing it, then its recitation must be resumed. This applies to normal doubt. But if the doubt occurs repeatedly on a daily basis, then it should be ignored, and one should perform the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) after the salām to vex Satan.
