Do repeating three verses from Al-Fatihah, whether out of forgetfulness, intentionally, or due to doubt, necessitate prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) and repeating the entire Al-Fatihah? And does doubting the recitation of the Tashahhud after reaching the Ibrahimiya prayer require repeating it from the beginning and performing prostration of forgetfulness? And what should a worshipper do if he performs an act and does not know whether it necessitates prostration of forgetfulness or not?

The advice for one afflicted with waswas (obsessive whispering) is to ignore these whispers and not pay attention to them. If doubts become frequent and occur daily, they should be disregarded, and no sujood as-sahw (prostration of forgetfulness) is required. As for someone not afflicted with waswas, repeating Al-Fatiha intentionally, forgetfully, or due to doubt does not invalidate the prayer. If it is done forgetfully or due to doubt, sujood as-sahw is recommended according to some scholars. As for doubting the recitation of At-Tahiyyat in the last tashahhud, it is considered like a pillar of prayer according to the Shafi'i and Hanbali schools; it is as if it was not recited, and one must recite it again and perform sujood as-sahw. However, doubting the first tashahhud does not necessitate sujood as-sahw.
