Is it permissible to boycott one's parents because of their insistence on hosting a girl adopted by the family—who is an adult and has deviant behaviors—while they are aware of her corrupt morals and the impact of that on the family's reputation?

Parents must not shelter their immoral daughter or assist her in committing indecencies, based on the Almighty's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." However, if they do so, their right to filial piety is not forfeited. You must seek Allah's forgiveness, maintain ties with your parents, and accompany them with kindness and benevolence, even if they treat you poorly. It is not permissible to abandon one's parents, no matter how much ill-treatment they inflict, for Allah has commanded companionship with them in kindness, even if they strive to make one associate partners with Him. Some scholars permit abandoning parents for a legitimate religious benefit for them, provided that ties are not severed. Parents should be advised with wisdom and good counsel to stop aiding their daughter in sin and to prevent her from it as much as they can.
