Is discussing work matters or family problems considered backbiting that could negate the reward of Hajj and displease Allah?

Tale-bearing indicates a sick soul and a vile nature. The definition of prohibited tale-bearing is revealing what is disliked to be revealed, whether it be a statement or an action, a fault or otherwise. It invalidates good deeds. However, if conveying speech involves a benefit or repelling harm from Muslims, then tale-bearing is not prohibited in that instance.
