There is no harm in traveling to offer condolences to a relative or friend, due to the comfort, solace, and alleviation of the pain of the calamity it provides. There is no harm in offering condolences before or after the burial, and the closer it is to the time of the calamity, the more complete it is in alleviating its pains.
