The answer

The procrastination of a Muslim who is able to repay his debt is forbidden and an injustice, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The procrastination of the rich is an injustice." There is no difference in fulfilling rights and repaying debts between a Muslim and a non-Muslim.
