Is it permissible for the wedding night to take place in a hotel?

It is permissible to spend the wedding night in a hotel, provided that there are no apparent forbidden acts or doubts regarding entering it, based on the Almighty's saying: "And when you see those who engage in [offensive] discourse concerning Our verses, then turn away from them until they enter into another conversation. And if Satan should cause you to forget, then do not remain after the remembrance with the wrongdoing people." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade attending a feast where there was wine, saying: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not sit at a table where wine is circulated." If the hotel does not involve such things, then there is no harm. However, it is more appropriate for a religious person to avoid these places, which are often sources of doubt.
