Is it permissible for a Muslim to rent or attend wedding halls in hotels that sell alcohol and contain other abominations, knowing that the hall itself does not contain these abominations?

It is not permissible to rent places where alcohol is sold and evil deeds are prevalent for a wedding or any other purpose, due to the corruption, evil, and discord that results from it, and because it aids their owners in sin and transgression.

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against entering the dwellings of wrongdoers except weeping.

Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned that a person should not attend places where evil deeds are witnessed and where he cannot denounce them, unless there is a legitimate religious necessity, an essential worldly need, or coercion. Otherwise, mere attendance for spectacle is a blemish on one's integrity and honor.

Ibn Uthaymeen stated that it is not permissible to reside in hotels where the drinking of alcohol is openly displayed, or to eat in restaurants that serve it, unless there is a need.
