What is the religious ruling regarding a husband who expels his wife and refuses to either take her back or divorce her, given the wife's need for care and the fear of her falling into what is forbidden?

We advise involving your family to mediate and reconcile between you and to demand that your husband treat you with kindness (ma'ruf). If reconciliation is not achieved, let them demand that he divorce you. If he refuses, then take the matter to court to demand a divorce or khul'. Until you get married, be patient and maintain chastity by fasting, lowering your gaze, staying away from provocations, strengthening your connection with Allah through supplication, keeping company with righteous women, and occupying your time with beneficial activities.
