The forbidden seclusion () is a man's meeting with a woman in a place where they are safe from a third person entering upon them. The presence of two men of righteousness and integrity lifts the prohibition of seclusion. The permits the seclusion of two or three men with a foreign woman if they are a group from whom the occurrence of fornication is unlikely due to their righteousness or integrity.
