Is it confirmed that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, cursed goats and prayed for sheep?

It has not been established that the Prophet, peace be upon him, cursed goats or prayed for sheep. However, it has been established that he encouraged keeping sheep because they are a blessing, as in his saying, peace be upon him: "Keep sheep, for they are a blessing," and his saying: "Sheep are a blessing, and camels are a source of pride for their owners." As for the circulated story of his cursing goats and praying for concealment for sheep, no basis has been found for it, and it is among the baseless tales.
