What is the ruling on paying Zakat to organizations that assist with marriage, and is it permissible to divide Zakat funds into unequal monetary shares and distribute them among the categories of Zakat recipients?

One who is unable to afford marriage expenses may be given from the Zakat, provided that the Zakat is handed over to the poor person as his possession.

If associations will deliver Zakat funds to the poor person for him to marry with, then it is permissible to give Zakat to these associations. It is also permissible to distribute Zakat to its rightful recipients among the eight categories in equal or varying shares, or to give it to a single category, depending on the need and benefit.
