The answer

Islamic law obligates the husband to be just among his wives in terms of lodging, dwelling, maintenance, and clothing. However, concerning other matters such as love and emotional inclination, there is no blame upon him. Justice in lodging means spending time equally. Justice in dwelling means providing separate residences for each wife, without housing two wives in one dwelling unless they both consent. Justice in maintenance and clothing means spending on them what fulfills the obligation for each, according to his capacity and ability. As for the husband leaving the house of one of his wives for a need, there is no harm in it, so long as it is not with the intention of causing harm. The criterion for the division of time is that the husband spends most of the night with the wife whose turn it is.
