Is it a requirement to use soap when performing Ghusl (ritual bath) after menstruation, sexual impurity (Janabah), or a wet dream (Ihtilam)?

Purification from impurity (ghusl) is valid with pure water alone, and using soap or detergents is not required. Washing with water alone is sufficient, though using soap is permissible. The minimal ghusl consists of the intention, saying the name of Allah, and ensuring water covers the entire body once. The preferred complete ghusl includes: having the intention, saying the name of Allah, washing the hands three times, cleaning any affected areas, performing ablution (wudu), pouring water over the head three times, washing the entire body while rubbing, starting with the right side, and finally washing the feet separately.
