Is it permissible to purchase yeast from a winery?
The yeast used in bread making is permissible to buy and use. It is also permissible to buy it from a winery. However, it is preferable to buy from a place that does not sell prohibited items, as a form of denunciation of evil, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed ten concerning wine: the one who presses it, the one for whom it is pressed, the one who drinks it, the one who carries it, the one to whom it is carried, the one who serves it, the one who sells it, the one who consumes its price, the one who buys it, and the one for whom it is bought."
