It is recommended for one whose mind is preoccupied with thoughts to turn to the piety of Allah Almighty and to occupy oneself with what benefits them, such as: reciting the Holy Quran and pondering its meaning, acquiring necessary knowledge, reading about the lives of the righteous, and observing the conditions of needy Muslims. It is also recommended for her to marry if she is not already married, and to seek a man of good religion and character. As for the excessive thinking she experiences, its remedy is to turn away from it and occupy oneself with what is beneficial. If the matter reaches masturbation, then it is forbidden. If semen is discharged, a ritual bath (ghusl) is obligatory. If prostatic fluid (madhiy) is discharged, it is obligatory to wash its trace from the body and clothes.
