What is the ruling on traveling after swearing not to travel due to anger?

Anger does not prevent an oath from taking effect as long as the swearer's mind is sound and he understands what he is saying. If you swear not to travel and intend not to travel at all, then your travel is considered a breach of the oath, which necessitates an expiation (kaffarah) for breaking an oath. However, if you intended not to travel only on a specific day, then you do not break your oath by traveling on other days. In the absence of an intention, one refers to the reason for the oath, for "indeed, every person will have what he intended."
