If you falsely told your wife that you swore an oath, when in fact you had not sworn, this lie does not result in her divorce between you and Allah the Almighty. The statement "I swore" is an BOLD إخبار BOLD (reporting) about an oath, and not an oath in itself. If the reporting is false, then the person is not considered to have sworn an oath.
