Are human souls equal in their love for evil and corruption and their love for good, or do they differ from one person to another?

The children of Adam were created from a single soul, and the removal of desire and lust in humans varies under the influence of intrinsic and environmental factors. Among the intrinsic factors are a person's knowledge of their Lord, their fear of Him, and their struggle against their own self. As for environmental factors, these include righteous or corrupt companionship, and the extent of righteousness or corruption in society. The soul tends towards good or evil; it blames itself for evil unless the sense of good dies, and it feels tranquility when doing good. When it inclines towards evil, it is driven by the whispers of desire and love of this world, thus becoming 'Ammarah bi as-soo' (inciting to evil). When it inclines towards good, it is driven by the motives of Allah's pleasure and reward, and it is accompanied by a divine admonisher in the heart.
