Why did Allah Almighty create souls, knowing in advance that they would not be guided and would enter Hellfire, despite Him not granting them their guidance?

God created disbelievers for multiple reasons, among them the manifestation of various forms of servitude that God loves, such as loyalty and enmity for His sake, jihad, patience, and perseverance. The existence of disbelievers also demonstrates the effects of God's beautiful names and exalted attributes, such as His triumph for His allies and the destruction of His enemies. Furthermore, the blessing of faith becomes evident through praising God when one observes its opposite, which is disbelief. Ibn Al-Qayyim stated that God loves to be thanked, and complete gratitude is achieved through the variation among His servants; a believer's gratitude increases upon seeing a disbeliever. The existence of disbelievers also highlights other forms of servitude such as patience, forgiveness, and altruism. Ultimately, "He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned."
