Will the prayer of a wife who invokes evil against her husband and his co-wife be answered, and who threatens to change her religion or sect if her prayer is not answered? And is there anything the husband can say to prevent her prayers from being answered?

We advise you to rely on Allah and protect yourself with the prescribed remembrances (adhkar) and seeking refuge (ta'awwudhat). Trust that your wife's supplication (du'a) will not harm you unless you have wronged her, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The supplication of the servant continues to be answered as long as he does not pray for a sin or for the cutting off of ties of kinship." You should strive to guide her and address her situation with kind companionship, calm dialogue, beneficence, and supplication for her.
