Are the holy books written on the Preserved Tablet?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Everything is written in the Preserved Tablet. Abu Dawud narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The first thing Allah created was the Pen. He said to it: 'Write.' It said: 'What should I write?' He said: 'Write the destiny of everything that was and everything that will be until eternity.'" And Allah Almighty said: "And everything We have enumerated in a clear register" (Ya-Sin:12), which is the Preserved Tablet. The Noble Quran is also mentioned as being in the Preserved Tablet, as stated in His saying, the Almighty: "Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an In a book well-protected" (Al-Waqi'ah:77-78), and "And indeed, it is in the Mother of the Book with Us, exalted and full of wisdom" (Az-Zukhruf:4), and "But it is a glorious Qur'an In a Preserved Tablet" (Al-Buruj:21-22).
