Is it permissible to eat the meat of a sheep that has been sexually assaulted, and is it permissible to drink its milk?

The animal that is subjected to bestiality is killed, and its meat is not eaten. If the animal belongs to the perpetrator, there is no compensation due from him. If it belongs to someone else, he is obliged to guarantee its value. As for the perpetrator, he is to be disciplined (ta'zeer). There is a weak hadith that commands his killing. The majority of jurists, however, have held that there is no hadd (prescribed punishment) for someone who commits bestiality, but he is to be disciplined. Jurists differed on killing the animal after bestiality and on eating it. The Hanbalis held that it should be killed, while the Malikis and Shafi'is permitted eating it if it is an animal whose meat is permissible to eat. As for the reason for killing it, it was said to prevent the perpetrator from being shamed, or to prevent it from giving birth to a deformed creature, or to prevent it from being eaten. In summary, a sheep subjected to bestiality is killed and no benefit is derived from it.
