Is giving money to another person to buy from a merchant whom one swore by Allah not to buy from considered a breach of the oath?

If a person swears not to buy a specific merchandise from a particular merchant, then delegates someone to buy it for him, there are two scenarios:

- If his intention was not to conduct the purchase himself directly, then he does not break his oath (hinaith) by virtue of his agent buying it for him. The same applies if there was a reason for the oath and that reason ceased to exist. - If he had no specific intention and no particular reason for the oath, then he breaks it (yahnath).

He also breaks his oath if an agent buys from the person against whom the oath was made.
