Is it true that any work done after the Adhan has no blessing in it, and is it obligatory to stop working immediately upon hearing the Adhan, even if the work is minor?
It is not true that every action performed after the lacks blessing, nor is it obligatory to cease work immediately upon the Adhan. Rather, one must go to pray in congregation at the mosque, as this is the most blessed and complete in reward. Allah the Almighty has praised those whose work does not distract them from prayer, by saying: "Men whom neither commerce nor selling distracts from the remembrance of Allah and the establishment of prayer and the giving of zakah. They fear a Day in which hearts and eyes will [fearfully] turn about." So, if your work does not prevent you from congregational prayer, then continuing to work after the Adhan does not have an effect.
