What is the ruling on working in a carpentry factory if the wage is very low, and the worker is compelled to reduce the quality of the product (durability and appearance) to complete a larger quantity, knowing that the factory owner is aware of this and wants to reduce wages to increase his profit? Is this considered deception?

If the factory owner deceives people by selling something that is not as it appears, then it is not permissible for you to work for him, due to Allah's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression," and due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." However, if the condition of these pieces is known to the buyer and he agrees to purchase them, then this is not considered cheating, and your work is permissible.
