What is the current state of Islam in the world?

The state of the Islamic nation today has transformed from a leading, productive, and civilization-exporting nation to a subordinate, consuming, and importing one. This is due to several reasons, the most important of which are: deviation from religion and failure to apply its rulings, absence of methodology in education, indulgence in desires, negligence of God's commands, the reversal of Muslim thought and its departure from the divine methodology, and disunity and fragmentation. We ask Allah to remove these afflictions and to restore the glory of Islam and the might of Muslims.
