Is a woman obligated to revere her husband to the point of prostrating to him, as her husband understood from the noble Hadith: "Were I to command anyone to prostrate to anyone, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband"?

The hadith is authentic, and its intent is to emphasize obedience to the husband, not to glorify him as one glorifies Allah the Almighty, because that would be disbelief (kufr). Prostration is of two types: prostration of worship, which is for Allah alone, and prostration of glorification, which is not permissible for any created being in our Sharia, even if it was permissible in previous nations. Thus, the hadith exaggerates in explaining the greatness of the husband's right, not that his right is equivalent to the right of Allah.
