Do religiously observant Christians who are morally committed equate with those who commit abominations in the eyes of God, and do all enter Hell, taking into account that the image of Islam is distorted in the West? And does the noble verse: ﴿لقد كفر الذين قالوا إن الله ثالث ثلاثة﴾ [المائدة من الآية:73] refer to the early Christians who distorted their religion due to the use of the past tense verb "said"?

Everyone who professes a religion other than Islam is a disbeliever. And whoever the message of Islam reaches in its correct form and dies upon disbelief, he is among the people of the Hellfire. His polytheism nullifies every good deed he did in this world. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever disbelieves in faith, his work has become worthless, and in the Hereafter, he will be among the losers." Allah recompenses the disbeliever in this world for his good deeds, as stated in the Hadith: "As for the disbeliever, he is fed for the good deeds he did for Allah in this world, so when he reaches the Hereafter, he has no good deed for which he can be recompensed." The noble verse means that whoever makes a statement of disbelief is a disbeliever. It was revealed after the Christians affirmed the Trinity. And whoever follows the disbelievers in their disbelief and is pleased with their statement is a disbeliever like them. And everyone who does not believe in Muhammad, peace be upon him, is a disbeliever.
