Do angels have souls, or does their seizure by the Angel of Death not necessitate the existence of a soul in them, and what is the most authoritative view on this issue?

There is no disagreement among scholars that the noble angels have souls. We are not aware of any differing opinion from Al-Munawi on this. We have not heard the tape of Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, and we hope that those in charge of his website will be consulted to clarify the meaning of his words and statements on this issue.
