What is the ruling on women using "al-Mirwas"?

It is permissible for women to play the daff (tambourine) at weddings, provided certain conditions are met: that they do not mix with men, that no forbidden poetry is recited, and that it does not distract them from their religious obligations. As for the drum (tabl), it is not permissible because it is a musical instrument. The difference between it and the daff is that the drum is struck from both sides, while the daff is struck from one side. Therefore, if the instrument is closer to a daff, it is permissible to use it, but if it is closer to a drum, it is not permissible.
