First scenario: If your friend's intention was to serve the employer, not you, then you are not entitled to any part of the wage, and you should return the wage to the employer.

Second scenario: If your friend's intention was to serve you, not the employer, then you are not obliged to give him any part of the wage unless you both agreed upon it, because "he who works voluntarily is not entitled to anything." Nevertheless, he should be rewarded for his kindness, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever does you a favor, recompense him."
