Do bloody and other discharges from the site of a surgical operation on the scrotum nullify Wudu'?
Blood, pus, or serous fluid that exits the body is impure (najis) and must be guarded against. If it exits from a place other than the two private parts (e.g., a wound), it does not invalidate ablution (wudu’). One must wipe the wound and purify whatever has gone beyond its immediate area. What comes out thereafter is excused because it cannot be prevented. However, if it exits from the two private parts, it is impure (najis) and invalidates ablution (wudu’). If its flow is continuous, it falls under the ruling of سلس ( سلس البول - urinary incontinence or continuous discharge): one must perform ablution for each obligatory prayer after taking precautions, and one can pray supererogatory prayers with this ablution until the time for the next prayer begins. If it stops for a duration sufficient to perform ablution and prayer, then one must wait for that time, even if it means missing the congregational prayer. The Malikis hold that if what exits from the two private parts is continuous for most of the time or half of it, it does not invalidate ablution, and it is recommended to perform ablution for it for each prayer.
