Is it a condition for feeding sixty needy persons—as expiation for ẓihār—not to touch one's wife, and what is the ruling on issuing the expiation as a check that will be cashed after several months?

If a man pronounces ẓihār upon his wife and cannot find a slave to free, nor is he able to fast for two consecutive months, and he intends to feed sixty poor people, the preponderant opinion is that he is not permitted to touch his wife before completing the feeding entirely, due to His Almighty's saying: "{before they touch each other}." As for paying the expiation with a check that will be cashed later, this does not permit him to touch his wife before the check is actually cashed and its value paid to the beneficiaries.
