The answer

If you have intercourse with your wife after her menstrual period has ended and she has performed ghusl (ritual purification bath), then there is nothing upon you, and the presence of some blood thereafter does not affect it. However, if intercourse occurred after the cessation of the period but before ghusl, then you must seek forgiveness and repent, because intercourse with a menstruating woman requires two conditions: the cessation of blood and ghusl, as Allah Almighty says: ﴿And do not approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where Allah has ordained for you.﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 222].
