Does Allah accept the repentance of a servant who turned away from His remembrance and committed all major sins and transgressions, including disobeying his parents, to the extent that a devil was assigned to him? And will this devil be removed from him if he repents and wishes to return to his Lord? What should he do to receive Allah’s mercy and have sadness and despair removed from him?

Whoever sincerely repents of their sin, their repentance is accepted, provided it is before the death rattle (ghargarah) or the sun rising from the west, based on the Almighty's saying: "But whoever repents after his wrongdoing and makes amends, indeed, Allah will accept his repentance" and "Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy: that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself - indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful." And based on the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him): "Indeed, Allah accepts the repentance of a servant as long as he has not reached the death rattle." The penitent must be sincere in their repentance and remember Allah's mercy and His joy at the repentance of those who repent. They should seek forgiveness from their mother for their previous disobedience and strive to be dutiful and kind to her. They should also avoid despairing of Allah's mercy, for the Almighty says: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?"
