Being forced to pay a late fee without cause is an injustice and an unlawful seizure of your money. You are permitted to complain and supplicate against the oppressors, for Allah Almighty says: "Allah does not like the public utterance of evil, except by one who has been wronged." However, refraining from supplicating against the oppressor is better, for Allah Almighty says: "But if you are patient, it is better for those who are patient."
