What is the ruling on reciting the Fajr prayer silently or audibly if it was missed and the sun has risen?

He recites aloud, and there is no harm in that. So he should make up the prayer as Allah prescribed it. Indeed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed the Fajr prayer after sunrise, audibly and two rak'ahs, just as he used to pray it at the beginning of the day, and he prayed its regular sunnah prayer before it.
