The phrase "ha tala' deenahu" (his religion has come out) is not an explicit insult to religion, but it is malicious and used by the wicked. Its utterer does not become an infidel unless he intends to insult religion. As for the phrase "ma tatla' deeni" (don't make my religion come out), its meaning is "don't make me disbelieve," i.e., "don't harm me to the point of forcing me into disbelief." This is a dangerous phrase, but its utterer does not become an infidel unless he resolves to disbelieve. Most people who speak this way do not intend disbelief, but the matter is serious, for it might plunge a servant into Hell, as stated in the noble Hadith.
