What is the meaning of "And the mosques are for Allah, so do not invoke anyone with Allah" and "And there is none of you but will reach it [hell]"?

The meaning of the first verse, "And verily, the mosques are for Allah, so invoke not anyone along with Allah," is that mosques belong exclusively to Allah, and it is not permissible to invoke anyone other than Him within them. This includes invocations of worship and supplication. Directing these to anyone other than Allah is considered polytheism (shirk). As for the second verse, "There is none of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord, a decree which must be accomplished. Then We will save those who used to fear Allah and leave the wrongdoers therein on their knees," there are differing interpretations of its meaning. Some say that "passing over it" (al-wurud) means all creatures will be brought to it, or that believers will enter it and it will be coolness and peace for them, or that it refers to passing over the bridge (Sirat) above Hell, where Allah will save the righteous and leave the wrongdoers therein.
