ما هي الكبائر، وهل هناك كفارة لها؟

Major sins are every sin for which there is a prescribed punishment in this world, or for which a threat of punishment in the Hereafter has been revealed, or whose doer has been cursed. Scholars have differed regarding their number, and some have categorized them in specialized books. Allah Almighty has guaranteed that whoever avoids major sins will have their minor sins expiated, as He says: (If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you your [minor] evil deeds and admit you to a noble entrance). Major sins are expiated by sincere repentance, abundant seeking of forgiveness, and good deeds.
