Does the martyr’s soul go directly to Paradise, or does it wait until the Day of Judgment, and does he enjoy the delights of Paradise with the Messengers, and will Allah replace his body with another?

It is hoped that whoever dies from an abdominal disease will be counted among the martyrs, but a distinction must be made between a martyr of battle and a martyr of reward. The former is not washed or prayed over, unlike the latter, who is washed and prayed over, and receives the reward of martyrs. The souls of martyrs roam freely in Paradise, eating from its fruits. It has been reported that the souls of all believers enjoy the bliss of Paradise, although there is a disagreement regarding this generalization. However, bodies will not enjoy the bliss of Paradise until the Day of Resurrection.
