The circuit is invalidated if the circumambulation begins after passing the Black Stone, or if it ends before reaching the Stone. Thus, the circuit that began after the Stone is not counted, and the second circuit becomes the first, even if the start was slightly past it. Similarly, the circuit is not complete if the circumambulation ends before being abreast of the Stone, even if slightly. However, starting before the Stone or ending after it does not cause harm.
