What is the authenticity of the hadith: "There is no Muslim who visits a Muslim in the morning except that seventy thousand angels pray for him until evening, and if he visits him in the evening, seventy thousand angels pray for him until morning, and he will have a harvest in Paradise"? Does this apply only to visiting the sick in homes, and how can doctors and nurses who treat patients as part of their profession achieve this reward?

The Hadith narrated by Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the reward for visiting the sick, which states: "When a Muslim visits his Muslim brother (who is sick), he walks in the harvest of Paradise until he sits. When he sits, mercy envelops him. If he visits in the morning, seventy thousand angels pray for him until the evening. If he visits in the evening, seventy thousand angels pray for him until the morning," is an authentic Hadith, categorized as mawquf (وقف) but having the ruling of marfu' (مرفوع) because such a statement cannot be based on personal opinion (ra'y).

This Hadith applies to anyone who intends to visit a sick person seeking reward from Allah, whether the visitor is a relative, a stranger, a doctor, or a nurse. A good intention transforms worldly actions into acts of devotion. Thus, doctors and nurses are rewarded for visiting the sick in addition to the reward for their work.
