What are Al-Jibt and Al-Taghut, with proof?

Interpretations of "Al-Jibt" and "Al-Taghut" vary. It was narrated from Jabir that the Taghut were soothsayers upon whom Satan descended. From Umar, it was narrated that Al-Jibt is magic and Al-Taghut is Satan. It was also said that Al-Jibt is Satan and Al-Taghut is the soothsayer, or that Al-Jibt refers to idols and Al-Taghut to those who deceitfully interpret them. Further, it was said that Al-Jibt is the soothsayer and Al-Taghut is Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf, or that Al-Jibt is Huyayy ibn Akhtab and Al-Taghut is Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf.
