Is it permissible for me to speak with the family of a girl I admire and express my feelings for her, knowing that I am currently a university student and not ready for engagement, and how should I act in a way that pleases Allah in this situation?

You must avoid communicating with foreign women, and it is not permissible in Islamic law to establish a relationship with them. There is no benefit in revealing your feelings for the girl to her family as long as you are not ready for marriage, unless they will understand your situation and be patient with you. We advise you to fulfill the prerequisites for marriage, such as providing for its expenses, based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "O young men, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so, for it helps him lower his gaze and guard his chastity. And whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for it will be a shield for him." Increase in supplication, fasting, keep good company, and seek Islamic knowledge.
