Does the exit of three drops after suppressing semen necessitate ghusl?

The basic principle for ritual bathing (ghusl (definition)) after major ritual impurity (janabah (definition)) is the ascertainment of its cause (the disappearance of the glans or the emission of semen). If a person doubts whether the discharge is semen or something else, they have the choice between considering it semen and performing ghusl, or considering it madhy (pre-seminal fluid) and performing ablution (wudu') and washing whatever it touched.
